To Ann, Carol, Mindy and your families...words can hardly express the shock and sadness I feel at the untimely passing of my dear friend and your father. The treasured memories of his stories, travels, humor and smile is what I'll hang on to now. Thank you for the warm welcome you gave me and the other Honda family members who shared in the services on Wednesday....it was a beautiful testament to Dave that reflected on the special man he truly was. It was one of the most precious and memorable days of my life...I will miss him so much, but his life will live on through you girls and his grandchildren.......Mushi Mushi...Candy

We would like to convey our deepest sympathies to all family and friends of Dave. I`ve been a member of USMA for just the last 6 years and had always heard of Dave. I finally got to see him at our club meeting last month, unfortunately I wasn`t able to make his acquaintance after the meeting because I was chatting with other friends, and with most things in life, I thought I had time to catch up with him. Alast, another lost opportunity. God Bless every one of you and you`ll be in our prayers. Very Sincerely, Chilly, Sandi,&"The Gang"

Tonight there is a new star in the Heavens.
It’s shining down with a twinkle that resembles Dave’s eye’s. I’m so fortunate to have had such a close friend. Though I never had a blood brother, for the last 25 years I’ve not had to wonder what brothers do for and with each other. Not only was Dave part of my Honda family, he was considered one of our own by my Mother and 3 sisters. We have a deep sense of loss and will miss David and his friendship greatly.

It is hard to believe Dave is gone. I had the pleasure of working for Dave when he was a Mgr in Troy and then working with him in the engine group. I always enjoyed hearing about his love of cars and the great stories he could tell. He was a good friend and associate. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this most sorrowful time. He will be missed by many. Dave may you rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I have had the good fortune to be one of the many who counted Dave as a good friend, and I will miss his big heart and great sense of humor. He is now in the House of the Lord, and we will see him again.

Dave was so well respected w/his friends. My late husband liked him, my brother was a good friend of his.

Everyone enjoyed spending time w/him, his car stories, and his love of street rods.

My sympathy goes to you three girls, and families of Dave. I pray that God gives you strength every day

You are in our thoughts, bless you all.

Dave was a very special man. We were looking forward to seeing more of him during the summer months at our USMA car shows since he finally decided to retire. I enjoyed working with him at the USMA shows during the times he was able to come up to Michigan to visit. When Dave & Ralph got together it was just a fun time. Dave didn't take the car show scene too serious, he just wanted to have fun with his hot rods. It is a very sad time. Don & I send our sincere condolences to Dave's family on their loss.

I graduated from Romeo High School with Dave in 1966. I had not seen him for many years, but I remember him as a friendly and very caring person. Yes, he did like hot rods! I will miss the opportunity to have seen him again in life. My deepest condolences to the family.

Thank you first for your service to our Country when you were younger, and then later for your service to our industry. As importantly, thank you for the competent good natured way you provided it all. We will miss you Dave King! - Ian

My prayers and sympathy go out to the King Family. I remember seeing him at some of our USMA Car shows and while I never knew him personally, I could see that he loved cars! He will be in our thoughts the whole cruising/show season and will be greatly missed.

I had the pleasure of knowing Dave for almost 20 years. He had the ability to make me laugh so hard it would bring tears to my eyes. Now knowing that he’s gone, it’s hard not to experience the latter. We will miss you my friend.

My sincerest condolences to the King family on Dave’s sudden passing. I knew Dave throughout my 25 years at Honda and I always enjoyed working with him. Dave was a friend to all that he touched and well respected by all of his co-workers and business associates. We have all lost a very good friend.

To the King Family and Dave's very good friends, please accept my condolences on Dave's passing. I was shocked and extremely saddened when Doug called me about the loss of his very good friend.
I've known, worked and played with Dave for almost 30 years. Although I have not met any of Dave's family, I did get very close to Dave at our last two or three "Desert Thunder" motorcycle trips in Scottsdale, Az. We reminisced about many things in our past and things that we wanted to do in the future. I feel so sad that Dave left us before he could fulfill his "bucket list".
God Bless you Dave and your family and friends.

Dave to me was one of the brothers that I never had. I have no words to express my deep sorrow on his sudden passing. We shared many adventures and laughs through the years. I will always cherish the fond memories of the The Three Amigos, Dave, Doug and myself. I am forever grateful for having him as a friend and a business associate. God Bless Dave King
