I am so sorry! I am sad too. We were all definitely blessed to have known her. She will be missed greatly. She was so caring and gentle. She had a beautiful smiling face and voice, like an angel. The joy in her eyes was brought by the bright love of her daughter. She loved all her sweet babies, her children, grandchildren and pets. Her playfulness and love with all of you was very inspiring as a mother. She was one of a kind. I wish I knew how to comfort you but I don’t know how but you can cry or talk to me whenever you need to. Let your parents’ peace and love light your way. I am grateful to have known Mary Ann, Keith, both of you and your family. God bless. Love you all.

Suz & Aaron,
There are only a few words that I need when I think of Mary Ann. Beautiful, authentic, spirit-filled, joyful, lover, teacher....friend.
Her life was a love letter to all of us and one of the greatest expressions of God's unconditional love.
One only needed to be in her pressence for a moment to have a fond memory. Those of us who were lucky enough to know her as family or friend are blessed with a love that is real and tangible and will last a lifetime. She was one of the finest ladies I have ever known and a lady always knows when to leave the room. And although my heart aches selfishly for her and all of us - I am comforted by her still through all the things she gave me...just by MaryAnn being MaryAnn. I can't help but smile - and the absolute knowing that she is with God (& Keith of course!) and God is with all of us. The stars are shining a little brighter these days...but the days have been a bit gloomy...I miss her so much.
with love and prayers, Robinmarie

My grandmother was always full of so much happiness. Every time I saw her, she was always cheerful and loving. We shared many conversations together, through tough times and happy times, all of which helped to develop my deep admiration for her. She never judged me throughout all my phases of youth, and she never complained about anything I can remember. Everything was always said with a smile.
Her passing has come as a great shock to all of us. It was very sudden and I still cannot fully understand it, but I know that she is watching over me.
I think the most special thing I can say about grandma is she was just one of those persons you grow up with who love you for being you. That love is what defines family, and it is a great love that knows no boundaries or stops.
I have learned a lot from my grandma and can only hope to carry on the lessons she has taught me.

While going thru my treatment, I always compared my supporters as part of a giant chain. Mary Ann was part of my chain. She was a link of hope and strength. Now on her passing, she has not fallen from this chain but has become a golden link of great courage!
XOXO

Susanne & Aaron, Julie, Craig, Jill, Brian, Amy & families:
Our sincere sympathy goes out to all of you in the loss of Mary Ann.
Fond memories growing up; she was such a fun person and joy to be with. "Special people make a difference" that was Aunt Mary Ann. We are thankfull for all of her love and support she gave our entire family this past year, we could not have gotten by without her. Spending extra time with her this past year is a gift we will always treasure especially our last visit with her in Burbank days before her passing. May God give comfort to all our broken hearts.
Love and prayers.

Dear Susanne and Aaron,
You are in my thoughts each and everyday and I find myself talking about Mary Ann so often now. Those blue eyes and gorgeous smile with amazing cheekbones made her as beautiful on the surface as she was in her heart. She was accepted us even at our very worst. I remember her helping us with our funky little apartment and always having a way of making everything look better and making us feel better. She and Keith were so good to me and treated me like one of their own.
I can see her in the kitchen and Keith with his feet up watching college football while we played with our puppy dogs. They are all together now and I am sure they are smiling down at you Susanne. You were your mama's baby and she just loved you so much!
I know this is going to be a very difficult time for you and I want you to know we are here for you. It was so sudden but the beauty is she didn't suffer and she is at peace now.
All my love to you and your family.

We are deeply sorry for your loss, Mary Ann was such a joy & so much fun to hang out with. You could always count on her for a good laugh, kindness & a sweet spirit. I love how she loved Olive & how Olive loved her back. I will miss her goofy jokes, the silly things that always made us laugh, and the warm caring way that she always talked about life & her family.
We’re praying that in this difficult place, that God would comfort and keep you; that you would find your strength and peace in Him.
We love you both with all our hearts.

Dear Susanne and Aaron,
You are in our thoughts and prayers daily. Mary Ann was a lovely person with a wonderful sense of humor and a great mom to have. Her memories will live on in all whom she met. I know the loss was sudden and you will need time to heal as we all will. I am glad Mary Ann is home now and not suffering. I appreciate all you two did for her comfort, she was where she wanted to be in her time of need. We love you and pray daily for you!

I truly believe that we are better people just for knowing Mary Ann. So warm, caring, funny and BEAUTIFUL! Those cheekbones! And what a sport! She let me experiment on her hair color while I was still in cosmetology school and let me get away with telling her that her orange hair was "strawberry blonde".
She was such a special person to us and are so grateful that she came along with being friends with Susanne. If you spent time with them together, it was hard to tell exactly who influenced who! :)
Our thoughts are with Susanne, Aaron and the families.
Her spirit will always live within us.
Act dorky, live forever! xxxxxxoooooo

My deepest condolence to Susanne and the rest of the family. There were definitely times when we were little when Mary Ann was a second mom to me. She always had an infectious sense of humor, you could not help but join in on the silliness of it all; from the "I can see you through the crack in the door" to the "the little birds cry, good morning, good morning, good morning to you" to "good morning my pretty (cackling like the Wicked Witch of the West)". I tell my kids about these silly things every once in awhile, so obviously an impression she has left. The day before Susanne let me know she was ill I had just told my kids about her awesome popcorn ball cake thingy she used to make with M&Ms (still want that recipe BTW). Susanne and family, I pray you find peace in time with her passing, may God guide you through the healing and pain of losing such a great mom, step-mother and friend.

Susanne and Aaron,
We are so sorry for your loss. Losing someone so close so quickly will take time to heal. Mary Ann was an amazing mom, not only to you but to many. We will continue to hold you up in prayer for months, even years.
