Jessi Lyn Baca, age 28, of Troy, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 21, 2012 at her residence. She was born May 12, 1983 in Miami County, Ohio to the late Thomas L. Baca and Deborah L. (Palmer) Baca of Troy, Ohio; formerly of Greenup, Kentucky.
In addition to her mother, Jessi is survived by her grandparents, James and Ruth Palmer of Greenup, Kentucky and Charles Sutton of Oklahoma; uncles and aunts, James Robert and Delores Palmer and Scott and Martha Palmer all of Greenup, Kentucky; Brenda Settles of Catlettsburg, Kentucky and Marsha Palmer of Troy, Ohio; several cousins; and her dog, Thor.
Jessi was a 2001 graduate of Troy High School and a 2006 graduate of The Ohio State University. She was employed with Test America in Dayton, Ohio. She loved gardening and animals.
Services will be held 1:00PM Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Interment to follow in the Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Humane Society.
